Cohaesus, a tech skills resourcing partner for UK marketing and advertising agencies, has responded to an economic “resurgence” in Scotland by creating a new office in Edinburgh. The new office aims to partner Scottish agencies and brands looking to enhance their technical resources.

The new office will be headed up by Quentin Ellis, who has been working with Cohaesus’s Scottish clients for the last two years, and is based in Edinburgh’s New Town district. The Scottish operation currently has four employees and is actively looking to recruit skilled technical experts from Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

Ellis said: “We’ve established this office because we’ve seen a huge resurgence in Edinburgh, with plenty of companies experiencing significant growth and new opportunities. The issue in Scotland is when it comes to bridging the gap between creative teams and software engineering, mainly due to a lack of in-house skills and resource. We’re bringing our Reinventing Freelance model to Edinburgh and we’re looking to recruit local talent as well as draw on our existing technical expertise.”

Cohaesus is based in London and works with agency clients including M&C Saatchi, Havas and Wieden+Kennedy.
