Possible Seattle to appoint DigitasLBi's Gareth Jones as managing director
Possible Seattle has appointed Gareth Jones, chief brand and content officer for Digitas LBi as its new managing director.
The news of the move was announced in an email to staff by Digitas LBi UK CEO Michael Islip, seen by The Drum.
In his email, Islip wrote: "Over the years Gareth has brought DigitasLBi and its family of brands to life in some amazing ways that have helped us be recognised and stand out in a crowded market. He’s ridden the unicorn through mergers, acquisitions and quite a few brand relaunches and has really established our approach of the use of content to raise our profile - most recently showcased through the hugely successful NewFront event."
Islip told The Drum: "Gareth has done a great job over the last five years. We’re sad to see him go but he leaves DigitasLBi in better shape than ever and we wish him all the best in his new role.”
It is thought that Jones will take up the new position next year. The Drum was awaiting word from both Digitas LBi and Possible at the time of writing.
