Drunk Taco Bell executive fired after being pepper sprayed & arrested in Uber driver fracas

A drunken Taco Bell executive has been shown the door after video footage emerged of him assaulting an Uber taxi driver when they refused to drive him, forcing the driver to use pepper spray to subdue the individual.

Dashcam footage of the assault posted on YouTube has now gone viral having been viewed over 1m times.

In it an intoxicated Benjamin Golden, who had been in charge of Taco Bell’s mobile commerce and innovation initiatives, is seen in the back seat of the cab as the driver gets lost but is too drunk to offer directions.

When the driver, Edward Caban, attempts to throw Golden out he turns violent, forcing him to resort to pepper spray to regain control of the situation.

Caban said: “I understand it just a job hazard, but UBER DRIVERS DONT GET PAID ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH THIS STUFF!”

In a statement handed to CNBC Taco Bell said: “Given the behavior of the individual, it is clear he can no longer work for us. We have also offered and encouraged him to seek professional help."
