Comprising a collection of games and activities to support children’s development the platform has been completely re-imagined with a new concept, strategy, branding and development.

Chris Williams, group creative director, R/GA London, said: “Happy Studio is built on role-play games and activities that capture kids imaginations’ and helps them develop useful skills. We at R/GA believe that encouraging kids to act like professionals helps them to think creatively, make things they can be proud of, and grow their skills. That's why our philosophy is: Think. Make. Grow.”

Delphine Malvy, global senior director family marketing and alliances at McDonald’s, added: “We challenged R/GA London to create a new platform that extends the fun and excitement of a McDonald’s Happy Meal, whilst also remaining consistent with our brand goal of bringing kids and parents together in fun ways. Contributing to children’s future development is something McDonald's strives to deliver and we hope to fulfil this further with the re-launch of Happy Studio”.

The new-look Happy Studio launches throughout Europe on 30 October.
