Topman has rolled out a Facebook app to promote its recent fashion collaboration with presenter and broadcaster Nick Grimshaw.
The Arcadia-Group own brand has partnered with the X-Factor judge to design his debut clothing line, which was inspired by his own dog, Pig, who he is frequently pictured with. The new app will allow users to create and customise Grimshaw's doodles to draw their own pet portrait. Each day those who create the best designs will see them printed on bespoke Topman t-shirts.
Topman marketing director, Jason Griffiths, said: “The partnership with Nick is a major event for the brand and together I think we’ve created a fantastic experience that really celebrates this unique range and will be a lot of fun for people to get involved in.”
Created and designed by creative agency Über, the app is available on Topman's Facebook page from today (12 October) while Grimshaw's range will be ready to shop from 14 October.
This is the second time Topman has dabbled in the use of specially created Facebook applications. The brand previously rolled out a similar app, also devised and developed by Über, to promote its ‘Spray-On’ jeans range.
