The Guardian’s head of mobile and video advertising Lee Fels has left to head up video ad platform Teads' publisher offering.

Fels leaves the business after eight years, the last five of which he has had oversight of its advertising revenues from two of the fastest growing areas of online marketing. During his stint, he helped recalibrate the publisher for mobile, working on its nascent native advertising offering as well as on its smartphone app.

There is no news on who his replacement will be yet.

At Teads Fels takes on the head of publisher development role. He will be responsible for steering the types of products the ad tech player develops for publishers as well as overseeing commercial relationships with them.
