Ronda Rousey becomes first female to feature on the cover of Australian Men’s Fitness
The Australian edition of Men’s Fitness has broken with convention to feature a woman on its front cover, with Ronda Rousey taking the honours.
The first UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion gazes out from the November issue of the mag, an acknowledgement of her success in the sport having recently set the record for fastest submission in UFC history.
This has seen the champ rake in $5m from fights this year alone, earning her a place in Fortune Magazine’s 40 under 40 of influential young business people.
Although Rousey is the first female to make it onto the cover down under she is not the first worldwide, with Carnmen Electra and Stacey Keibler both having appeared in the US edition.
