Major Players' inaugural awards took place last night with Airbnb and the firm behind its rebrand, DesignStudio, scooping the top brand and agency accolades.
The Majors, held in association with The Drum, saw Airbnb chosen by the public as Major Brand and DesignStudio land the Major Agency prize. DesignStudio has also previously won two Cannes Lions awards for its work on the high-profile rebrand.
Allison Upton, marketing director at Major Players, said: “There are rafts of awards for businesses, but few that recognise the talents of the individual. We were keen to create something that supports and highlights the people behind the scenes that have played a demonstrable role in creating a great campaign or piece of work.
"It’s a great way for us to spot and recognise new upcoming talent and there are great examples of outstanding work within the finalists and winners.”
