A stellar line-up of brands and agencies including Save the Children, AnalogFolk and UM London are among the hopefuls for the inaugural The Drum Content Awards.

The awards were created to honour the best in modern marketing and recognise agencies, brands, publishers and platforms who are showing excellence and innovation.

Categories include Best Creative Content Idea Using Video (Save the Children, Mediacom for Bose, The Moment for Kenco and more), Best Use of Content On Social Platform (AnalogFolk for Chivas, Green Flag for Green Flag, UM London for H&M and more), and Best Branded Content Campaign (Grey London for News UK, Havas SE Cake for Very, Razorfish for Spotify and more).

Anna Watkins, Managing Director, Guardian Lab and chairperson for The Drum Content Awards commented: "With nearly 300 entries, both UK and international, and a stellar line up of judges from agencies, clients to media owners, it's as though these awards are already a fixture on the content marketing scene. We've had a day of inspiration, heated debate and plenty of well hidden envy at what others have produced. I'm looking forward to the night itself where we can reveal the results."

The award ceremony takes place Wednesday 18 November at The Emirates Stadium, London.
