Fallen finance giant Royal Bank of Scotland is to rekindle its relationship with Scottish advertising agencies as part of a multi-million pound comeback bid.

Agencies north of the border are being invited to pitch for a new campaign, the first such promotion for a number of years, for what is expected to be the biggest account of 2015.

Reports in Daily Business suggest that four agencies have already been approached to tender for the work, including Leith and Union, who will be tasked with giving the firm a distinctively Scottish flavour.

RBS currently employs London based M&C Saatchi for its UK wide campaigns but is said to be keen to return to its Scottish roots for this latest push.

Most recently M&C Saatchi devised the Make it Happen campaign philosophy which sought to emphasise the banks clarity, resourcefulness, ingenuity and creativity.
