Irate Mad Men & Boardwalk Empire fans hit out at Emmy Awards over spoilers montage
Emmy Awards organisers have come under fire from fans of Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire after producers compiled a spoilers montage revealing the endings to the hit shows.
The spoiler’s took many viewers by surprise with host Andy Samberg conceding that for many the show would be dubbed the ‘spoiler awards’.
Speaking after the clips had been aired Samberg said: “Welcome back to the spoiler awards. I guess everyone on every show died.”
Naturally the montage wasn’t received well by those yet to see the shows in question with Dalton Ross tweeting: “The #Emmys just set the land-speed record for most spoilers per minute.”

Not all were perturbed by the piece however, pointing out that the shows in question all ended earlier this year and had been widely talked about online.
