Today's ad of the day puts man's best friend under the spotlight.

New York-based charity Rescue Dogs Rock's new tongue-in-cheek spot aims to appeal to those affected by the recent Ashley Madison data leak. The campaign urges people looking for a lifetime of loyalty to look no further than their local animal shelter.

In adopting the tagline ‪#‎LifeIsShortHaveaDog‬, the ad parodies the dating site's motto of 'Life is short have an affair'.

Created by DigitasLBi New York, it stars real rescue canines Molly and Shakeshake.
