Funny or Die CEO Dick Glover jumps ship to Mandalay Sports Media
Funny or Die CEO Dick Glover has announced his intent to depart the comedy website founded by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy in order to head up Mandalay Sports Media.

In a note to staff explaining the move Glover said: “While the day-to-day operations will no longer be my responsibility, I anticipate I won't be able to help myself so will probably meddle there, too.
“My first love is sports, so I am excited about getting back into that arena (pun intended).”
Glover has a long pedigree in the world of sports media having held executive roles at WWE, ESPN and NASCAR and has been on the board at Mandalay for the last two years. He will replace former CEO Rich Battista who departed the post in April.
Glover is credited with overseeing the transformation of Funny or Die from a collection of amusing video clips into a mult-platform production company with several TV shows under its belt including Billy on the Street and The Spoils of Babylon.
In his new role Glover will work alongside mandalay co-founder Mike Tollin to develop original cross platform sports properties
