Since his appointment as Labour leader on Saturday, Jeremy Corbyn has started to feel the full force of the Conservative spin machine.

Corbyn, who has served his constituency in parliament for three decades, has now been fingered as a national security risk by the Conservatives after receiving an unquestionable mandate from Labour party snapping up 59.5 per cent of the leadership vote.

In a US-style attack ad, complete with sinister music and several mentions of Bin Laden, the Tories looked to bring Corbyn down a peg.

Before the video, stills also did the rounds on social media.

The attacks are unlikely to let up any time soon.

Just last week, Channel 4’s Michael Crick engaged an on-camera ambush of a Conservative PR man masquerading as a supporter at a Corbyn event, asking: “Were you attempting to gather intelligence? Were you sent here by Conservative party headquarters?”

The spinner failed to acknowledge the line of questioning and instead made a beeline for his car.

UPDATE: The video has been removed as the result of a reported copyright claim.
