Ogilvy has acquired a majority stake of Brazilian online performance, programmatic and conversion marketing agency Jüssi Intention Marketing.

The WPP-owned company establishes a greater foothold in São Paulo especially by taking a stake in the company which boasts 120 members of staff.

Founded in 2011, Jüssi joins the Ogilvy Group in Brazil (Ogilvy & Mather, David Agency, Nine, Etco and Foster) although it will continue to operate under the same name.

The investment continues WPP's Lat Am investment strategy bolstering the Group's leadership position in Brazil.

Topically, WPP and all its associates and investments generate revenues of around $600m and employs over 7,000 people in Brazil.
