CBS entertainment chief Nina Tassler surprises with resignation
CBS Entertainment chairman Nina Tassler has surprisingly announced her intention to stand down at the broadcaster at the end of the year.


Tassler will remain in the role until December but will continue to work in an advisory capacity until 2017.
According to Deadline, Tassler, who has worked with CBS for 18 years, is aiming to return to her theatre roots.
She joined as VP for drama for CBS Productions in 1997.
The company's current head of programming Glenn Geller to succeed Tassler has been reported widely.
