Brilliant Noise acquires its UK peer Evolver to strengthen social services

Digital strategy agency Brilliant Noise has acquired its UK counterpart Evolver in a deal that looks to strengthen its social and content systems services.

Evolver will become part of the company immediately and will add further strategy and social media/content systems integration methodology and production capabilities.

Brighton-based Brilliant Noise formed in 2010 and specialises in digital transformation and growth for its clients using technology platforms such as Sprinklr and Percolate. Its team of 30 have created real-time social media, content and digital strategies for clients around the world including American Express, The Financial Times, Coca-Cola, and Porsche Cars.

In a statement announcing the acquisition, the agency said Evolver’s skills and experience will help “accelerate the development of its social and content systems services”. Evolver’s emphasis on collaboration, data and openness was also highlighted as having had a “strong influence on the Brilliant Noise culture and methods”.

Antony Mayfield, chief executive of Brilliant Noise, said he was “honoured to be bringing its experience and track record into Brilliant Noise”. He also praised Evolver’s “portfolio of amazing strategy, innovation and transformation work for global brands including adidas and Telefónica.”

Ian Crocombe, founder of Evolver described the merger as a “great fit for Evolver’s culture, skills and clients” and said Brilliant Noise’s experience in transforming organisations represented a “natural home for Evolver.”

Following the acquisition, Crocombe will join the Facebook Creative Shop initiative.
