Digital marketing agency Digital Annexe has appointed Darren Groucutt as its new creative director.
Groucutt is an award-winning London-based creative director, designer, strategist and mentor. Over the past 15 years, he has led creative, development and motion graphic teams working in the physical and digital arenas, across sports, FMCG, entertainment and technology.
Digital Annexe managing director Sean Singleton said: “Darren is a talented, hands-on individual who leads his teams by example. He has a broad background in marketing from traditional advertising to store design through to interactive and emerging technologies and is exactly what Digital Annexe needs at this very exciting time of growth for the agency.”
Groucutt said: “I’ve had my eye on Digital Annexe for a while, as I’ve really admired the work they’ve been putting out there. The attitude within the agency to drive innovation, creativity and technical excellence is perfectly in tune with my own, so I couldn’t be happier to join the Digital Annexe team.”
Groucutt has previously held creative director roles with agencies including The Relative, Crystal CG International and JPMH, where clients included Glenfiddich, Panasonic, Dolby , MTV, Nickelodeon and Oxfam. He has also created and produced concepts, design and directed extensive high level digital deliveries for the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
