Dawn Airey replaced by Nick Hugh as Yahoo EMEA head

Dawn Airey has stood down from the position of EMEA senior vice president at Yahoo to "pursue external opportunities".

Airey, who also sits upon the BBC renewal charter committee, drawing from her experience as the former chief executive of Channel 5, has immediately vacated the Yahoo role.

From the London office, Airey led Yahoo’s EMEA region for two years. She is to replaced by EMEA advertising general manager Nick Hugh.

A Yahoo spokesperson told Broadcast: “We are incredibly grateful to Dawn for her dedication and contributions to Yahoo! over the past two years, and for her leadership of this extremely important region."

Airey first joined Yahoo in August 2013 from which she responsible for European firm's advertising.
