British Airways has already begun advertising for holiday travel with a Christmas-themed installment of its ‘#NoPlaceLikeHome’ digital campaign that launched earlier this year.

The ads use quirky sayings and traditions that are unique to the UK in an effort to lure those working and living abroad in North America to come home for Christmas.

Later this month, British Airways will roll out a postcard generator for family and friends in the UK that they can then send to their loved ones living abroad to encourage them to book a flight home for the holidays.

They can either send a generic postcard or choose a template from 106 UK counties along with a personal message.

The campaign will use targeted email, social, and digital elements in both the US and UK and is the airline’s attempt to position itself as the go-to option when traveling home.
