Interact: Sound Tea Brand Refresh

Brand: Sound

Title: Sound Tea Brand Refresh

Agency: Interact

Agency Website:

Published: July 2015

Short Rationale: "Interact partnered with SodTerra, now SOUND, to lead a rebrand which consisted of a new name, brand identity and packaging. The objective was simple, make waves within the ready-to-drink category. SOUND sparkling tea, breaks the stereotype that unsweetened beverages can't taste good. It combines the functional benefits of organic brewed tea with the refreshing bite of sparkling water infused with botanicals, extracts and flavors while ensuring it was free of any sweeteners or preservatives. Think of it as a carbonated soft drink without the catch.

The name SOUND is inspired by the product’s sound ingredients as well as its consumer’s desire for a sound body and mind. The packaging draws inspiration from life’s daily rhythms and interactions. The metallic accents, which communicate low calorie to consumers in the soda/diet soda category, embody actual sound waves through reflectivity. Meanwhile the logos disruption of the label further symbolizing Sound’s desired effect on the category."
