Chris Eubank has finally made Alan Partridge's TV show suggestion 'Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank' a reality in an advert for Hostelworld.

The ad, from Lucky Generals, sees the dapper former boxer check into a “splendid” and “extraordinary” hostel, paying homage to the spoof Alan Partridge programme idea almost two decades later.

The ad agency acted quickly after Eubank recently claimed he had no idea why people were asking to go youth hosteling with him: “Up until recently, I had absolutely no idea why people used to mention hostels to me and smile. It was truly an unsolved mystery to me.

"Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank has now become a reality and finally, albeit a little embarrassed and ashamed, I'm in on the joke 18 years after Alan Partridge pitched it!”

Eubank inspires in the trailer with sentiments such as: “The key thing in life is to be humble, just be little, they way you have nowhere to fall.”

Eubank tweeted his enthusiasm for the slot.
