We’ve reached the point where social media needs its own TV show. Tosh.O does a fantastic job covering the best viral videos trending on the web, but what about those outrageous Instagram selfies, ill-advised tweets, and head-scratching Facebook posts?

Oxygen tonight is premiering a half-hour special, “Worst.Post.Ever: With Frankie Grande” that will highlight the best - and mostly the worst - of social media. Grande (Ariana’s brother) will also carry out social media experiments and produce sketches and segments involving viewers from across social platforms.

Found Remote readers know the power that social media has on the TV conversation, but what about, as Grande is attempting, the converse?

“Though social media is absolutely incredible, it lacks inflection and tone and the ability to fit LOTS of thoughts all in one post,” Grande tells Found Remote. “Sometimes the things we see on social media are so outrageous that they require some thorough and in depth exploration & analysis... And that's when having “Worst.Post.Ever: With Frankie Grande” on you TV comes in handy!”

If the special inspires you to step up your own selfie game, Grande has some advice for you:

“It's all in the angles and the lighting,” Grande says. “You want to shoot yourself from a slightly upward angle, find frontal lighting and make sure you’re ‘giving face!’ Finally, push your shoulders down like a ballerina so it doesn't look like you’re hunching. Then click away and change up your faces and angles so you have lots of options.”

The special premiere tonight at 9pm EST.
