A UK police force has continued the tradition of posting drug hauls on social media and inviting those who lost them to pop into the station.
After finding a number of uprooted cannabis plants in Moses gate country park, the Bolton South division of Greater Manchester Police shared the image on Facebook, inviting the "forgetful horticulturist" who "mislaid" them to pop into the local station.
It read: "Are you a forgetful horticulturist? Have you mislaid 37 cannabis plants in ? if so please call into Bolton police station where we can discuss."
At the time of publication the post received 511 Likes and 557 shares.
It comes after Greater Manchester Police last year riled cannabis growers with a ‘Sorry you were out’ delivery note after seizing 72 plants from a home.
