Nanette LaFond-Dufour, president of McCann’s L’Oréal business, has been promoted to chief client officer.

In her new role, LaFond-Dufour will coordinate resources and help develop integration efforts across disciplines, practices and regions for McCann’s global clients. She will still continue to oversee L’Oréal in her new position.

Harris Diamond, chairman and CEO of McCann Worldgroup, said of her appointment: “Through her leadership on our worldwide L’Oréal business and her extensive background across many brand categories, Nannette has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of global marketing. She will now apply this perspective and expertise to lead our experienced team of worldwide account leaders in leveraging our array of strategic, creative and multiplatform capabilities to help our clients meet their growth goals.”

Throughout her career, she has held senior positions in New York, Chicago, Paris, and Detroit. During that time she has worked on global brand campaigns for companies including Pepsi, Johnson and Johnson and Procter & Gamble.

She joined McCann in 2012. Prior to that, she served as global business director at DDB Worldwide.
