35 Bill Cosby accusers appear on bold New York magazine cover
New York magazine has published an evocative cover putting a face to 35 women accusing Bill Cosby of sexual assault.
The cover, showing each woman seated against a white background, underlined the sheer volume of Cosby accusers.
The surge in traffic to the article crashed the New York magazine webpage on Monday morning and directly resulted in ’35 Bill Cosby’ trending on Twitter in the United States.
An empty 36th seat featured on the magazine as a symbolic prompt for others who could have been assaulted by the fallen 80s icon to come forward.

Testimony from each victim built a damning narrative around Cosby’s assaults. It comes after Cosby last week admitted to giving sedatives to at least one woman.
