Make & Matter: The Seaweed Bath Co. New Packaging

Brand: The Seaweed Bath Co.
Title: New Packaging
Agency: Make & Matter
Agency Website: http://www.makeandmatter.com
Creative Director: Trina Bentley
Copywriter: Shelly Leyden
Published: July 2015
Short Rationale: “The Seaweed Bath Co. is a line of all natural bath products that use sustainable, hand-harvested bladderwrack seaweed from the coasts of Maine. The design of the line has a sense of nostalgia to it. The design is reminiscent of salty air, sandy beaches and of course the hero ingredient, seaweed. Different seaside scenes are used to delineate various product lines, while color tabs designate the different scents. Textures and subtle imperfections give the product line a hand crafted, approachable vibe.”

Title: Find Your Park
Agency: Grey NY
Agency Website: http://grey.com
Group Creative Director: Sean Crane
Group Creative Director: Joe Mongognia
Creative Director (Art Director): Chris Perrone
Creative Director (Writer): Tony Muller
Published: July 2015
Short Rationale: The National Park Service (NPS) is unveiling the next round of creative for the Find Your Park campaign. The idea behind these latest Find Your Park static pieces from GREY NY is to blend a park you know or expect, with one you don’t. As different as these two places may be, they’re both part of the National Park Service system. They might have nothing else in common except for the very important fact that they’re among our most treasured places.
Brigade: Greenlight Planet 'Sun King' Packaging

Brand: Greenlight Planet
Title: Sun King Packaging
Agency: Brigade
Agency Website: weareBRIGADE.com
Creative Director: Kirsten Modestow
Designer: Joe Marden
Copywriter: Robert Parker
Illustrator: Thomas Dudley
Produced: Winter 2014
Short Rationale: Greenlight Planet is a company on a mission to deliver safe, clean, and inexpensive energy to the two billion people in the world without access to electricity. Originally designed to serve rural India, Sun King solar lamps are now used by more than 10 million people in more than 30 countries.
The team at Greenlight Planet approached BRIGADE to help them break into the U.S. market with a new brand identity, brand story, and line of packaging for its Sun King products. The client wanted to better communicate with the U.S. consumer and leaned on BRIGADE as a design resource and strategic partner.
Originally, Greenlight Planet did not have a concise way to talking about the amazing mission they were on around the world. BRIGADE worked to craft a new and compelling way for the company to speak about itself and transformed their mission into a movement. We wanted to gain the attention of conscious consumers to spread the word about the award-winning Sun King products that are transforming the world one light at time.

Anagrama: Kindo Store Design

Brand: Kindo
Title: Store Design
Agency: Anagrama
Agency Website: http://anagrama.com/
Photographer: Caroga
Published: July 2015
Short Rationale: Kindo is an exclusive boutique for kids’ clothing and accessories in San Pedro Garza Garcia, Mexico. The store offers a wide selection of trendsetting and original clothing items for children.
The brand is inspired by a didactic bead maze made up of geometric shapes, and uses simple figures as its base, creating an adaptation with a fun twist. Kindo’s color palette attempts to reflect a child’s personality, using a wide range of pastel and neon colors. The icon represents the mix of the classic and the new that makes up the brand.
The store’s interior aims at complementing the experience for adults as well as the children. It creates a dynamic space where each of the bead maze’s attributes are used for the products’ exhibition. The tubes function as display stands for clothing and the beads are used to exhibit an array of accessories. The interior achieves its function as a unique space that complements the brand’s style.
