Customer engagement agency Kitcatt Nohr has announced the formation of a new management team following the departure of founder and managing director Vonnie Alexander to spend more time with her family.

The DigitasLBi division has promoted Hattie Whiting as replacement, a role which will see her tasked with expanding Kitcatt Nohr’s existing customer base, which includes Sky, Nissan and Bupa.

Whiting will be joined by Ed Beard who is being brought on board as chief strategy officer from his current post as head of creative strategy at Digital LBi. Here he will lead a team of customer engagement planners to help brands better understand their customers.

This follows the simultaneous departure of Kittcatt Nohr’s existing chief strategy officer Richard Madden, who is pursuing a new opportunity outwith the agency but will remain in post for a transition period.

Michael Islip, chief executive, UK, DigitasLBi, said: “I’d like to thank Vonnie and Richard for their dedication and hard work building Kitcatt Nohr into the market leading agency it is today. With someone of Hattie’s caliber at the helm of a first rate management team, Kitcatt Nohr will go from strength-to-strength as it continues to forge new ground in customer engagement.”

Whiting and Beard will work alongside Kitcatt Nohr executive creative director Ben Golik and group data strategy partner Sue MacLure.
