Subway’s Tony Pace brings decade-long spell as head of marketing to a close
Subway’s chief marketing officer Tony Pace has announced he is to bring a decade-long career at the fast food chain to a close in order to pursue new interests, amidst the ongoing fall-out from a raid on the home of Jared Fogle - long-time pitchman for Subway owner Doctor’s Associates.
Both parties have since suspended their relationship and Pace denies any influence of that affair on his own departure, insisting that his primary focus now would be a new marketing consulting firm known as ‘Cerebral Graffiti’.
Explaining his move Pace said simply that he “wanted to do something new’.
Pace won plaudits during his time at Subway for a successful marketing drive which has seen the restaurant business rise to become the 40th most trusted brand in the world according to WPP owned research firm Millward Brown.
