Ex-Pernod Ricard CMO Martin Riley joins Nude Brand Creation

Pernod Ricard's former chief marketing officer Martin Riley has joined Nude Brand Creation as the design and branding agency's first non-executive director.

Riley, who left the drinks giant last December, will work to bring in new clients and aid existing clients build their brands and achieve commercial results.

Speaking about his appointment Riley called design "the single most important element" in drinks marketing.

“It is the one aspect that can create a direct relationship between a brand and a customer," he said. "Over the years of working with Nude I have been continually impressed by the time, care and attention they lavish on a project, understanding a brand’s true story and then expressing it in a way that stands out.”

Pernod Ricard replaced Riley with managing director of South Africa Conor McQuaid. He took up the role 1 January.

He was also the president of the World Federation of Advertisers.
