Big Spaceship hires R/GA’s Andrea Ring as first chief strategy officer
Andrea Ring is leaving R/GA after ten years to join Brooklyn-based Big Spaceship as its first chief strategy officer.

The new role was created to help clients with digitally-focused products and services as the agency expands its offerings. Ring will also be tasked with sharpening the agency’s strategic vision.
At R/GA, she served as senior vice president of planning and experience planning where she worked with brands including Nike and Google to help them rethink their businesses and engage with target consumers.
Of her new role, Ring said: “The team at Big Spaceship has an amazing mix of hunger and humanity that I haven't come across before. For all the modern agencies out there – Big Spaceship is one of the few that actually walks the walk when it comes to embracing a diverse approach to management and overall thinking.”
Ring will begin on 20 July and will report to the agency’s founder and CEO Michael Lebowitz.
Earlier this year, Big Spaceship hired Cedric Devitt as chief creative officer.
