Social media users round on Bill Cosby’s wife for standing by her husband
Bill Cosby’s wife Camille has become the subject of a social media campaign calling on her to distance herself from her husband amidst persistent accusations of rape levelled against the troubled entertainer.
This follows reports in the New York post that Camille had been battling to shore up her husband’s image in the midst of the public relations storm engulfing him, in which several women have come forward to accuse Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them.
The news saw people round on Cosby’s wife of 50 years using the hashtag #camillecosby as emotions ran high.

Camille Cosby hasn’t spoken puiblicly since December when she issued a statement defending her husband. Cosby has not been charged with any crimes although civil lawsuits have been filed.
