The coalition is truly dead as George Osborne blocks the Lib Dems on Twitter
George Osborne has blocked the Liberal Democrats' press office from following him on Twitter.
Relations between the former coalition partners reportedly soured after Lib Dems mocked Osborne for posing over a printed copy of the budget… with a pen.
The move, perhaps unfairly, gathered some ridicule on social media.

In the aftermath however, the Lib Dem press office shared the news that it had been blocked by Osborne on Twitter.
Honestly George, let it go. #budget2015 pic.twitter.com/Cg4UjxJmHx

In response to the jibe, Labour MP John Prescott admitted he was yet to be blocked by the chancellor of the exchequer.
Hi @LibDemPress. I've not been blocked by @George_Osborne..yet. You're not missing much though. #Budget15 pic.twitter.com/FAqYSQeEhY
