Grain Belt beer updates design to appeal to modern drinkers

American beer Grain Belt has updated its brand and logo design as it looks to bring the 125 year old brand into the modern age.

Grain Belt tasked advertising agency Colle+McVoy with modernizing the “The Friendly Beer” and creating a cohesive brand and design system that would complement and tie together 125 years of widely varying historical elements.

The new branding updated simple elements that have been consistent throughout Grain Belt's history such as the red diamond and the bottle cap logo.

The agency also designed a new range of coasters to help carry the new look into bars and used the same fun and friendly tone in its messaging.
