The CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network, Nigel Morris, says that having a clear vision and being able to articulate that is essential to being a successful CEO.

Morris was speaking to The Drum at Cannes Lions 2015 where he discussed the importance of communicating the vision within the business itself.

He also highlighted the importance of having "a compass and radar". A compass to know exactly where you're going and a radar to be able to adapt.

Morris was appointed CEO of Aegis Media Americas in 2011 having held the position of CEO, Aegis Media North America from May 2009. In June 2012 Morris was additionally appointed CEO of Aegis Media EMEA and became CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network Americas & EMEA following the acquisition by Dentsu.
