Miles Young, global CEO of Ogilvy & Mather, said that his success as a CEO is due to his humility and respect for people.

Young was Speaking to The Drum at Cannes Lions 2015 where he highlighted the importance of having a "vision" and "getting deep down in the engine room".

He also attributed his success to having the right balance of humilty in order to get the best out of people which he claimed is "what being a CEO is all about, getting the best out of people".

In 2009 Young took over as global CEO of Ogilvy & Mather after fives in Asia-Pacific during which time he doubled the region's revenues.
