Swedish cider brand Rekorderlig has launched its first ever global brand campaign to communicate its Beautifully Swedish to a worldwide audience.
Silver Skaters embodies its ‘Beautiful over ice’ message by depicting two bearded ice skaters traversing a frozen lake before breaking out into a physically demanding routine under the watchful gaze of their coach.
Directed by Andreas Nilsson the 60 second spot forms part of a Facebook and Instagram campaign which launches on 10 July before beginning a run on cinema, online, OOH, PR and in-store.
Kieron Barton, managing director of Chilli Marketing said: “For us advertising in the Cider category has become a little predictable and we felt it needed something to invigorate it. As a brand that has been unafraid to pioneer fruit cider globally, Rekorderlig is definitely a ‘break the mould’ brand that we felt was able to do that.
“I believe it will live long in the memory and I think consumers will come away from our first ever TV advert knowing that Rekorderlig truly is ‘Beautifully Swedish’.”
