Everyone's talking about Kingsley, Partick Thistle's new mascot designed by David Shrigley

Partick Thistle has unveiled a striking new mascot as part of a six-figure deal with a Californian investment firm – and it is causing quite a stir on social media.

Kingsford Capital Management became the new sponsor of the Scottish football club after its art-loving founder discovered one of his favourite artists, David Shrigley, supported the Glasgow side.

And as part of the deal, Shrigley has created bizarre new club mascot Kingsley which is now well on its way to going viral.

Additionally, a new Kingsford logo was designed by Shrigley to adorn Partick jerseys this season.
