Publicis London ECD Andy Bird set for New York role

Publicis London executive creative director, Andy Bird, is to take on the added responsibility for running the creative department of Publicis New York before making a permanent move to the US.

After three years with the agency, Bird will take on the duties of overseeing key accounts in London and New York, working closely with CEOs Guy Wieynk and Andrew Bruce to service global clients in both regions.

Arthur Sadoun, CEO, Publicis Worldwide said: “Andy is a shining star within the Publicis Worldwide network. With his strong creative teams, he has taken the creative output to another level, scaling it to achieve incredible international recognition. We are very happy that his role is growing into one that is more globally facing and that such a great talent remains within our family.”

Publicis London will begin the search for a successor with immediate effect.

Bird is one of the star executive creative directors involved in judging The Drum's Dream Awards this year.
