Vimeo, the online video platform, and Fullscreen, the multi-channel network, today announced a partnership that will bring content to Vimeo from the newly created Fullscreen Films.

The first film, #O2LForever, about the rise - and ultimate disbandment - of the vlogging Our 2nd Life, will be released on June 23.

“Fullscreen is a forward-thinking media company connecting a new generation of creators to fans globally and Vimeo is thrilled to offer their original premium content directly to fans,” said Greg Clayman, General Manager, Audience Networks, Vimeo. “#O2LForever captures the passionate fans behind one of today’s most significant cultural phenomena and we’re excited to be releasing it exclusively on Vimeo.”

In addition to the Fullscreen partnership, Vimeo this week also announced a slate of music-themed titles coming exclusively to Vimeo on Demand, perfect timing ahead of prime music festival season. The four titles will be released over the next two weeks, and are on subjects like Kurt Cobain, Wilco, and Pentatonix.

Vimeo currently has over 35 million users and a monthly audience of 160 million. The company has directed its focus toward exclusive video on demand offerings featuring both Vimeo originals and content from partners like Fullscreen.
