Sprinklr, social technology company, has named Tom Butta as its first-ever chief marketing officer (CMO).

Throughout his career, Butta has served as the CMO for many tech companies including AppNexus, Nice Systems, PTC, and Red Hat.

“Tom has served as CMO for some of the world’s most pioneering private and public enterprise software companies, including those that fundamentally transformed their industries and inspired entire marketplaces,” said Ragy Thomas, chief executive of Sprinklr.

"We have similar ambitions for Sprinklr, and Tom’s leadership will help put the company and our customers in a position to capitalize on that opportunity."

Butta will be tasked with building and expanding Sprinklr’s brand.

He will be based in New York City.
