Premier League title sponsorship in doubt as Barclays contract expires
The Barclays Premier League is likely to be known simply as The Premier League from the 2016-17 season onwards following expiry of an existing sponsorship deal with Barclays, as officials seek to assure clubs that the organisations commercial strategy will not interfere with their own individual deals.
