Visa Europe’s digital wallet V.me has signed as headline sponsor for Cosmopolitan's consumer festival #FashFest.
The service will be integrated into the #FashFest experience and attendees will be given access to exclusive offers and incentives.
The sponsorship gives Visa Europe access to Cosmopolitan’s audience of fashion loving young women, paving the way for it to try and boost both sign-ups to V.me and spending through the service.
Taking place week (14 September), #FashFest will enter its second year and host five bespoke fashion events over five days.
Wendy Martin, executive director of V.me by Visa, said: "V.me by Visa meets both consumer and merchant needs, to pay and be paid, quickly, conveniently and securely, at any time from any device.
"Our sponsorship of #FashFest enables us to unite Cosmopolitan’s fashion conscious audience, a large proportion of whom are millennials and therefore early adopters of new technologies, with some of the UK’s leading fashion brands to deliver a better online shopping experience”.
The festival will have a bespoke content hub where The Lingerie Show and Catwalk to Cosmopolitan Fashion Show will be live streamed to allow those not at the festival to purchase outfits via a click to buy option.
Some of the brands taking part in #FashFest include ASOS, Boohoo, George.com, H&M, Next, River Island, Simply Be and Ted Baker.
