Trinity Mirror Solutions has appointed Emma Callaghan and Darren Coomansingh as group account directors.
The pair are the latest in a long line of strategic hires made by the media group's commercial division since James Wildman took over as chief revenue officer last year.
In their new roles, Callaghan and Coomansingh will lead the firm's dedicated sales teams servicing UK agencies across the entire Trinity Mirror newsbrand portfolio.
Callaghan joins after seven years at PHD, where she most recently worked as account director in the investments team. She has worked with a wide portfolio of brands including Expedia, Canon and the British Heart Foundation.
Joining from Bauer Media, Coomansingh started his career at UTV’s talkSPORT before going agency-side with ZenithOptimedia where he worked on a number of high-profile accounts.
The new hires will work alongside group account director Clare Gledhill.
Commenting on the appointment, Trinity Mirror sales director Andy Atkinson said the firm was "confident" with its most recent hires.
"We’ve got the right structure in place to help continue to drive positive change in our business," he added, "Clare, Darren and Emma will lead our agency teams brilliantly – we’re lucky to have them.”
