San Francisco-based creative innovation agency Juxt has named John Jakubowski as head of creative.

John 'JJ' Jakubowski

In this role, he will join with Juxt’s president Michael Polivka to work on the agency’s creative capabilities.

In 2012, he founded Wombat Creative, which provides “creative strategy and insight for some of the worlds largest brands” according to his LinkedIn page.

Throughout his career, he has held creative director roles at Ogilvy & Mather and AKQA. He has worked with brands such as Xbox, Coca-Cola, and General Mills.

Of his appointment, Jakubowski said: “I love technology. I love making things and I’m naturally curious. JUXT is a perfect fit.”

Juxt’s clients include the NFL, Nestle Purina, and Toyota. The agency is part of Project: WorldWide, an independent global network of wholly-owned agencies.
