The Fragrance Shop has appointed integrated marketing agency BWP Group to manage its UK consumer PR.

A privately owned, family run retailer, The Fragrance Shop has over 170 stores throughout the UK, stocking a wide range of luxury and mainstream brands, plus a growing selection of exclusive scents.

BWP Group won the account after presenting a PR campaign designed to raise brand awareness and position The Fragrance Shop as industry experts.

Pete King, managing director at The Fragrance Shop, said: “We are really looking forward to working with the BWP Group team. We can’t wait to see the plans come to life over the course of the year.”

BWP Group’s managing director, Matt Tabb, said: “The Fragrance Shop’s in-house product development team is rapidly building a reputation for creating its own award-winning scents, setting it apart for other retailers in the the fragrance space. This expertise has allowed BWP to develop an exciting PR programme that will help to drive The Fragrance Shop’s continued growth in 2015 and beyond.”

BWP Group delivers strategic consultancy and integrated campaigns with a focus on retail destination and channel marketing for clients including O2, IKEA and STIHL.
