The Drum has launched its Digital Census, the annual piece of research on the digital marketing industry, conducted in partnership with the Recommended Agency Register (RAR).

Nominations for the Digerati, an annual list of the top 100 individuals in the digital industry, have also opened.

The census survey, sponsored by corporate financial advisors Green Square, is now open for submissions to agencies supplying digital marketing services – including digital creative, search marketing, social media, user experience and mobile – as well as web design and build services and digital media agencies.

Using an established methodology, the Digital Census will rank agencies on two dimensions: financial performance over the most recent financial year, including turnover and fee income, and client satisfaction, measured using the RAR system of client ratings.

The Drum’s editor, Stephen Lepitak, said: "The Drum’s Digital Census highlights the performance of agencies across the digital spectrum and provides an insightful benchmark for agencies in this space, identifying trends and areas of growth. Appearing in the census not only highlights your financial performance to the rest of the industry, but also identifies how well you perform as judged by your clients – surely a key indicator of success.

"We urge agencies of all size and discipline to take part – don't miss out on the chance to be included in this insightful report."

Agencies wishing to participate may do so by submitting the required information using the online survey, with detailed information available on the census FAQ page. The deadline for survey completion is Friday 19 June.

Furthermore, The Drum has also launched nominations for its annual Digerati, highlighting 100 of the most influential individuals in the space. The number one individual in the Digerati will also be recognised at The Dadi Awards in October. To nominate someone for the list, which was last year topped by Laura Jordan Bambach, complete the Digerati 2015 survey before Friday 19 June.

The Digital Census and The Drum Digerati are both published in September.
