Nadya Powell, managing director of Lost Boys, the creative boutique agency within the DigitasLBi group, is to take on the same role at independent creative agency, Sunshine.

Powell, who took on her current role at Lost Boys in September 2013, when it was known as MRY, will make the move in August to the two-and-a-half year old agency, based in Shoreditch.

Kit Hawkins, CEO of Sunshine commented:"2015 is has been another exciting year for us with growing interest in our culturally-led vision and approach. There has never been a better time in our industry to be independent, entrepreneurial and optimistic – three qualities Nadya has in abundance. She brings world-class experience - we’re delighted that Nadya is joining the Sunshine team."

Powell described Sunshine as “a rare breed” while explaining her reason for making the move, added that it was “entrepreneurial, independent and focussed on driving brand growth through cultural relevance”.

She added: "I am hugely looking forward to bringing my communications, innovation and leadership acumen to Sunshine and I can’t wait to get stuck in.”

Powell is also the founder of Innovation Social and Millennial Mentoring, and was named in the BIMA Hot 100 for the second year running last week.
