Maytag has launched a mobile tool designed to let consumers see what their kitchen or laundry room would look like with the company’s latest appliances.

Called ‘Bring Maytag Home’ and created by DigitasLBi, users can take a picture of an existing appliance in their house. After following a few steps, the company’s dishwashers, refrigerators, and other household items replace existing ones.

Everything is done on mobile, but there is no app to download. Users must visit www.bringmaytaghome.com to experiment with the tool, which also provides a custom message from ‘The Maytag Man.’

Mike Frease, SVP-group creative director at DigitasLBi, said: "With the successful launch of our new Maytag Man campaign, social channels were abuzz with people wishing they could 'take the Maytag Man home.’ So we did just that: we created an interactive shopping tool that allows you to see and browse Maytag products right in your home, while also enjoying some entertainment from the Maytag Man.”

‘Bring Maytag Home’ is available on iPhone and Android devices.
