Edelman appoints Mother’s COO Matt Groves

Edelman appoints former Mother COO Matt Groves as managing director of digital its digital arm.

Groves brings 20 years’ of experience in advertising, digital, design, and production to the digital practice and has a successful track record in business transformation through acquisition, partnerships and organic growth.

He joined Mother in 2014 as its first operations director, an executive role that saw him work alongside the rest of the agency’s board members. Prior to that he was director of integration at Saatchi & Saatchi where he led the acquisition and integration of Outside Line, a top five digital and social business resulting in 50 per cent turnover year on year.

Groves on his new position: “I’m really looking forward to being part of the Edelman family and will look to bring a strong, creatively driven approach that builds upon and broadens our capabilities in a connected world.”
